Connie Jo (Roseberry) Larrew

Connie Jo Larrew, 70, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Mrs. Larrew, the daughter of the late H.H. and Ruth McCarver Roseberry, was born July 11, 1945 in Fredericktown, Mo. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and attended Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Larrew was a retired Registered Nurse and a former director of the Northside Nutrition Center. She was a former member of the Altrusans, a former active lobbyist for the Silver Haired Legislature in Jefferson City and was a member of the Poplar Bluff Eagles Lodge. Mrs. Larrew enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others.

On Feb. 8, 1975, she married Lyle "Mike" Larrew in Fredericktown. He survives.

Other survivors include three children: Trieste K. Saling of Bloomfield, Jim (Kathy) Saling of Columbia and Bob (April) Saling of Naylor; a granddaughter who they raised, Ashley (Cole) Allen of Auburn, Ala.; eight additional grandchildren; one great-grandson, Connor Allen; and a nephew, Tom (Barbara)Rosenberry of Paducah, Ky.

Three brothers, Alvin Rosenberry, John Rosenberry and James Rosenberry also preceded Mrs. Larrew in death.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral chapel with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will follow at noon at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
