Conrad Lee Roberts

Conrad Lee Roberts, 83, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Roberts was born April 17, 1927 in Ellsinore, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith, and had retired from the Civil Service. Mr. Roberts was also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served in the Asiatic Pacific and occupation of North China. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, woodworking and playing bingo.
On Dec. 4, 1992 he married Mary Roach in Corning, Ark. She survives.
Other survivors include 3 children, Mary Lee Tromblay of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif., Susie Schneider of North Calif. and Wendy McIntosh of Woodbridge, Va.; 3 stepchildren, Daniel Montgomery of Broseley, and Kristy Montgomery and Teresa Wagner both of Poplar Bluff; and 8 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
His parents, Samuel and Bertha (Helton) Roberts, grandson, Caleb McIntosh and step-grandson, Phillip Tyler preceded him in death
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Buff.
