Corriene F. Barnett

Corriene F. Barnett, 79, of Poplar Bluff, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Barnett was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Cooter, Mo. Retiring after 20 years as a machine operator with ITT Blackburn Co. in St. Louis, she was also of the Church of Christ faith and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Barnett enjoyed collecting buttons and playing cards and bingo.

On March 10, 1948, she married Olton ""Bud"" Barnett, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Gary O. Barnett, of Guangzhou, China and Dennis B. Barnett, of Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Mr. Vernon Curry officiating.
