Cynthia L. Berry

Cynthia Louise Berry, 56, of Poplar Bluff, MO., died Saturday Oct. 16, 2010 at Heritage Gardens of Greenville, Mo.
Mrs. Berry was born April 17, 1954, at Amarillo, Texas. She was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School in 1972 and the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism in 1976. After graduating from college she went to work for the Daily American Republic as a retail sales representative. Mrs. Berry worked at the DAR 29 years before ill health forced her to retire. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jesse ""Biff"" Berry of Springfield, Mo., and his fiance, Julie Smith of Broken Arrow, Okla.; her mother, Mary Lou Owens of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Dennis Owens and wife, Brenda of Bolivar, Mo.; two sisters, Donna Aldridge and husband, Keith of Poplar Bluff and Jackie Henderson and husband, Terry of Jefferson City, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Shirley Owens of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a special friend, Carla Cross of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
Her father, Jerry Owens, and a brother, David Owens, preceded Mrs. Berry in death.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with her brother, Pastor Dennis Owen officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
