Daniel M Jaco

Daniel M. Jaco, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., went home to be with his Lord on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Jaco, the son of the late Jewel and Virginia Shaffer Jaco, was born March 20, 1955 in Bellville, Ill. He enjoyed spending time with the loves of his life, his wife, children and grandchildren and his 1974 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Mr. Jaco had a big heart and never failed to help someone in need.

On Jan. 8, 1972, he married Shirley Weaver in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She survives of the home.

In addition to his loving wife, Shirley of 44 years, other survivors include four children, Shawn (Valerie) Jaco of Evansville, Ind., Wade (Amy) Jaco, Colby (Treska) Jaco, and Shannon Jaco all of Poplar Bluff; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild and one great-great grandchild on the way; two brothers, Robert (Barb) Jaco of Illinois and Ted Jaco of Poplar Bluff, two sisters, Kathy Jaco and her boyfriend, Brian of California and Ginger Jaco (Wally) Tesluk of Illinois.

Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Woodlawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
