Danny Fray Morrow

Danny Fray Morrow, 76, of Wappapello, MO, passed away Thursday, July 03, 2025, at his home.

Danny was born on July 10, 1948, to Richard and Pearl (Strickland) Morrow in Red Bay, Alabama. He married Mary (Myers) Morrow on June 23, 1973, in Chaffee, MO.

Danny was a carpenter by trade. He loved woodworking, camping, hunting, and playing poker. One of his favorite things to do was fish for crappie on Reel Foot Lake and Wappapello Lake. Danny was a simple man who loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Morrow; two daughters, Amber (Teddy) Stone and Jennifer Morrow (Jason Adkisson); two brothers, Roger (Glenda) Morrow and Michael Wayne (Penny) Morrow; two sisters, Theresa (David) Jones and Debbie (Michael) Hornback; five grandchildren, Trace Stone, Nate Stone, Harper Grace Stone, Chase Morrow, and Mattie Claire Adkisson.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Grover, Garland, Rowland, and Ottis Morrow; three sisters, Bonnie Romanowski, Rita Belt, and Donna Sevic.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 11:00-1:00pm at Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church. Funeral will follow beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Craig Hamilton officiating.
