Danny Spradling

Danny Spradling, 67, of Poplar Bluff, began his heavenly journey on Monday, January 1, 2018.

He was born on October 25, 1950 to Leonard and Louise (Cash) Spradling in Poplar Bluff, MO. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1968. Danny worked as a Pipefitter his entire career, when he retired in 2001. On February 22, 1997 he married Wendy.

Danny was drafted 1970 and served in Vietnam February 1971 to February 1972 where he was attached to Alpha Company 1/502 Infantry 101st Airborne. He was awarded the combat Infantry Badge, Army Commendation Medal, and Air Medal. He made over 25 aerial jumps into hostile enemy territories. He was a Lifetime member Vietnam Veterans of America, and a Proud member of NRA.

Danny is survived by his loving spouse of 21 years, Wendy; daughter, Lindsey Wickham of Poplar Bluff, MO; two sons, Chuck (Terri) Spradling and Eric Spradling both of Poplar Bluff, Mo; two grandsons, Noah Wickham and Aiden Spradling both of Poplar Bluff, Mo; and one brother, Dewaine (Buddy) Spradling of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He was preceded in death by Mother, Louise Spradling and his Father, Leonard Spradling.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday January 5, 2018 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO. Recognition of Life to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will take place at 3pm in the Bloomfield Veteran's Cemetery.
