Darrell B. "Tiger" Healey, 51, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical.
Darrell, the son of Jimmie and Margaret E. Adcox Kent, was born Nov. 1, 1964 in Garden City, Mich. He was of the Baptist faith and had proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. Darrell was the former owner of Edgewood Recreational Vehicles and was a retired chef. He was very family oriented and loved nothing more than spending time babysitting or playing with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed cooking, dancing and reading history stories but took great pleasure in making others laugh.
In addition to his parents, Darrell is survived by a brother, Daniel (Nicki) Healey; two sisters, Missy (Tommy) Tucker and Tricia Carpenter; four nieces; four nephews, two great-nieces; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Visitation will begin at noon Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. Dr. Steve Proctor will officiate. Interment with full military honors will be at 3 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
