Darryl Steven Smith, 62, of Lakeland, FL, passed away May 29, 2014, at the V.A. Hospital in Tampa, FL.
Mr. Smith was born October 12, 1951, in Aurora, IL, to J.T. and Marilyn Petersen Smith, and was an Army Medic.
He is survived by his wife, Deirdre; two daughters: Lindsay and Ashley, and his mother Marilyn Smith, of Poplar Bluff.
His father, and a brother, Dennis James Smith preceded him in death.
A graveside service with full military honors will be at 2 p.m., on Friday, June 27th, at the City Cemetery. Pastor Jim Osborn will be officiating.
