David William Ethridge

David William Ethridge, 47, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at John Cochran VA Hospital, in St. Louis.

Mr. Ethridge was born April 19, 1961, in Poplar Bluff. He was of the Baptist faith; and was employed at Emerson Electric. Mr. Ethridge was also a veteran of the U. S. Navy, retiring after 20 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars and outboard motors.

Survivors include three children: Hattie Elizabeth Ethridge, Shawnda Ethridge and David William Ethridge II, all of Paragould, Ark.; his parents, Beeler and Glenda (Niswonger) Ethridge, of Paragould, Ark.; and two sisters: Belenda Shearer and Tracey (Ethridge) Osgood, both of Paragould, Ark.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
