David Lee Ewing, 66, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Ewing was born June 29, 1942 in West Helena, Ark., and was self-employed as a Cosmetologist. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, fishing and hunting.
On Nov. 21, 1987 he married Kathleen Agnew in St. Louis. She survives.
Other survivors include his children: Jessica Ewing of Poplar Bluff, Michael Ewing, Edward Ewing and Angie Ewing, all of Kansas City, Mo., Alicia Ewing, Adam Ewing and Matthew Ewing all of Miami Beach, Fla., Bryan Kenoyer of Terre DuLac and Kayla Kenoyer of Poplar Bluff; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Jeffries; and 3 brothers, Nathaniel Ewing, Willie Ewing and Joe Ewing all of St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at Central Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Frye officiating.
