David Iler

David Lee Iler, 77, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 12, 1940 to Earl and Ruby (Roy) Iler in Van Buren, MO. David drive over 3 million miles and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local #2. On August 10, 1962 he married Shirley Wilson in St. Louis, MO.

David is survived by his loving spouse of 56 years, Shirley Iler of the home; two sons, Allen Iler of Poplar Bluff, MO and David Iler of St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Lisa Kirn of Poplar Bluff, MO, Patricia Knight of Dittmer, MO, and Linda Alejandre of Mexico; grandchildren, Anthony Nguyen of Poplar Bluff, MO, Michael Iler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Amanda West of O’Fallon, MO, and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Cowin of Ellington, MO and one brother, Don Iler of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Della Yvonne Iler, two granddaughters, Kasandra Marie and Sarah Ann Iler; his parents; and two brothers, Kenneth and Eugene Iler.

Visitation will be held from 3-4 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 and a memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel.
