David Wayne King

David Wayne King, 3 month old son of William R. and Teresa M. (Potter) King, died Monday, May 14, 2007 at their home.

Little David Wayne was born Feb. 10, 2007, in Poplar Bluff.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by four sisters, Emily Schnizler, Anna Schnizler, Tessa Schnizler and Kimberly Schnizler; paternal grandmother, Reba Medley King, of Poplar Bluff; maternal grandparents, James and Sylvia Potter, of Poplar Bluff; two great-grandmothers, Virginia E. King and Delores Arbuckle, both of Poplar Bluff; his aunt, Samantha Potter, of St. Louis; an uncle, James Potter, Jr., of Kennett; his Godmother, Johnda Boyce, of Vernon Hills, Ill.; and numerous great aunts, great uncles and other relatives.

His grandfather, Darry Wayne King, great-grandfather, William Rex King and great-uncle David Lee Palmer preceded David Wayne in death.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Luther Abbott officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
