David Eugene Studt

David Eugene Studt, Sr., 72, of Wappapello, Mo. died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Studt was born July 29, 1938 in Clayton, Mo. He was of the Protestant faith, and had retired as an over the road truck driver. Mr. Studt was a veteran of the U.S. Army; a member of the Teamsters Union; past president of Eagles Lodge 4066 at Wappapello, where he also served as bingo chairman; and a member of the VFW also at Wappapello. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gardening and fishing.

On March 14, 1970, he married Carol Ann Coleman in St. Louis, Mo. She survives.

Other survivors include 3 children, Kenneth Lee (Gail) Studt and Sandra Johnson all of St. Louis, Mo. and Michele Lynn Studt of Cape Girardeau; 7 grandchildren, Nathan Studt, Jeremiah Studt, Asher Studt, Aliyah Studt, Dawn Johnson, Shawn Studt and Tiffani Schmidt; and 3 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Maycen and Brooklyn.

His parents, Irvin and Jane Hyke Studt, sons, David E. Studt, Jr. and Christopher Thomas Studt and sister, Mary Jo Divo preceded him in death.
