David Elijah Lee Tyler

David E. Tyler, 51, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Tyler was born March 5, 1961 in St. Louis, Mo. He was of the Pentecost faith, and had retired as a glazer for a glass company. Mr. Tyler was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting for arrowheads, hunting and fishing.

On Dec. 3, 1983, he married Pamela Jean Eastwood in Poplar Bluff. She survives.

Other survivors include two children: Tara Tyler and companion, Adam Manes and Troy Tyler and companion, Samantha Ward all of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren: Emerson Tyler and Austin Manes; a brother, Danny Tyler of Poplar Bluff; and five sisters: Dorothy Stacy, Brenda Spence, Mary Baker and Rachel Tyler, all of Poplar Bluff and Minnie Kissie, of Corning, Ark.

His parents, Paul and Anna (Harrington) Tyler and brothers, Don Tyler and Paul Tyler preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the City Cemetery with the Rev. Leroy Murray officiating.
