Debra R. Boyd

Debra Rochelle Boyd, 59, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Boyd was born Dec. 8, 1951 in Broseley, Mo. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Ms. Boyd had a BS degree in accounting, and was a licensed cosmetologist. She was currently working as an accountant with Equitable Real Estate Services. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bird watching, knitting, cross-stitching and crafts.

Survivors include her daughter, Christine Boone; son, Charles Riels; mother, Hazel Madeline Spurlock Hayes all of Poplar Bluff; sisters, Darlene Lillard of Richmond, Va. and Nelda Dunlap of Revere, Mo.; and brothers, Curtis Hayes of Dudley, Mo. and Leo Edward Hayes Jr. of Wappapello, Mo.

Her father,Leo Edward Hayes preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Arellano officiating. Following cremation Ms. Boyd's ashes will be interred at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
