Debra Jean Griffin

Debra Jean Griffin, 56, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff.

Ms. Griffin was born Nov. 28, 1953 in Harviell. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ, and had previously been employed as an L.P.N. at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center. Ms. Griffin enjoyed playing cards, watching western movies and doing needlepoint.

Survivors include two children, Joshua Jacobi Griffin of Poplar Bluff and Danyle Denise Griffin of Neelyville; her mother, Sarah E. (Harden) Hervey of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Maria McCain of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Loyd L. Majeed of Beloit, Wisc., Danny L. Harden of Poplar Bluff and Eddie Ray McCain of Washington, D.C.; and a host of other family members.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel with the Rev. Theodus Sanders officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
