Debra Holifield

Debra Schroyer Holifield, 62, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 in Poplar Bluff.

She was born on November 27, 1955 to Randy and Gerlene (Jordan) Schroyer in Gideon, MO. She graduated from Gideon High School in 1974. After graduation she obtained her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Special Education from Arkansas State University. She taught elementary school in Senath and retired as a Special Education teacher at the Poplar Bluff Junior High.

Debra is survived by three daughters, Amy Holifield and Stephanie (Jordan) Walker both of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Leah (Carl) Barr of Kennett, MO; four grandchildren, Madisyn, Melanie, Morgan, and Jaxon; and two sisters, Linda (John) Cowan of Springfield, MO, Donna (Ken) Lewellen of Tulsa, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary with Pastor Byron Beck officiation.

Memorials are suggested to the Cambridge Adult Day Center in Poplar Bluff.
