Delmar Lynn Manns Sr.

Delmar Lynn Manns Sr., 87, of Poplar Bluff, MO went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025.

Delmar was born on April 2, 1938, to John Riley Manns and Olga Maria (Macke) Manns in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Mary Virginia Johnson on November 28, 1959. This union brought one son, Delmar Lynn Manns Jr. (Charmayne), who survives. Other survivors include, two grandchildren, Delmar Lynn Manns III and Jackalynn Renee Manns (Willie); six great- grandchildren, Big Hunter, Little Hunter, Wyatt, Case, Adalynn, Abby, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Delmar was preceded in death by his parents, John and Olga; brothers, Clifford, John Riley, Martin, Raymond, and Virgil; sisters, Earlene, Clara Pat, Gladys and infant Louvelda.

Delmar worked as a truck driver for many years and farmed with his son and grandson. The last several years he delivered vehicles for Baldwin Ford and GM. He worked hard for those he loved and being with family was close to his heart. He enjoyed hearing the word of God and listening to gospel music. Delmar Served in the U.S. Army from 1955 until honorably discharged in 1958. Delmar will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 9th, from 11:30-12:15 at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Graveside services beginning at 1pm at Missouri State Veteran Cemetery, 17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, Missouri.
