Delta Creasman

October 20, 1964 — June 18, 2020

Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Delta Ranaee Creasman, 55, of Poplar Bluff passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 18, 2020. Delta was born on October 20, 1964 in Lompoc, California to Lloyd and Opal Creasman. She was of the Christian faith.

Delta was an avid reader of murder mysteries and suspense books with favorite authors being John Sandford, Norah Roberts, and James Patterson. She also enjoyed playing video games on the internet, and spending time with her son, grand kittens, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Delta spent her childhood in many places, often moving around as her parents searched for work, including Manila, Arkansas, St. Louis, Missouri, and Rapid City, South Dakota later in her life.

Delta spent her life as a loving single parent and worked as a laborer. Delta was loved, not by a few, but by all who knew her because she was a loyal and caring friend. She was proud of her family, and would say without hesitation that her son Randy was her greatest accomplishment.

Delta is survived by her son Randy John Creasman of Poplar Bluff; sisters Laurie Gail Creasman of Fisk, MO, Teresa Fay Lemons of Arab, MO, Trudy Ann Moen of East Carondelet, IL, and Lois Kay Parker of Waterloo, IL; nieces Lisa Brown, Tonya Loyd, Felicia Simmers, and Jacqueline Parker; nephews Richard Simmers, Scott McFall, “Bill” Lemons, Tyler Creasman and J.C. Parker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Mae Creasman of Arab in 2008, her father Lloyd Roosevelt Creasman of St. Louis in 1994, her brother Randy Joe Moen in 1955, a sister Tamyra Sue Milam in 2017, and a nephew Johnny C. Simmers in 1985.

A celebration of Delta’s life will be held at a later date.
