Diana Lynn (Dee) Clarkson

Diana Lynn Clarkson, 58, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Clarkson was born March 17, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, and was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. She was employed at the Butler County Prosecuting Attorney's office. Ms. Clarkson enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include two children, Brooke Risley (Brian), and Kelly Clarkson and fiance, Brett Holden, all of Springfield; a grandchild due in February; her mother, Peggy Hankins Batten, of Sikeston; a sister, Angela Shepherd (Matt) of Sikeston; three brothers, Alan Dee (Laura), of Jackson, Jerry Dee (Martha), of Poplar Bluff, and Mark Dee (Tina), of Sikeston; and two nieces, one nephew, and many other relatives and friends.

Her father, Roy Eugene Dee, and grandparents, Lois and Eugene Hankins and John and Maggie Dee preceded Ms. Clarkson in death.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Three Springs Cemetery in Butler County.
