Dolores E. Bethel

Dolores E. Bethel, 84, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Bethel, the daughter of the late Lee and Maude (Stage) Tidwell, was born March 27, 1924, in Poplar Bluff. She had retired from B & H Auto Electric as a secretary, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bethel enjoyed traveling and shopping.

On Jan. 5, 1969, she was married to Roy ""Lee"" Harold Bethel. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2007.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Greve and husband John, of Poplar Bluff; grandson, Jerry Johnson, of Rutherford, New Jersey; step-daughter, Cherie Ezell and husband Wayne, of Poplar Bluff; step-granddaughter, Melanie Ezell; and special friends, Bettie and Charles Raulston, Jane and Paul Diggs and Betty Clay, all of Poplar Bluff.

A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, located at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Hoyt officiating.
