Donald Wayne Briscoe

Donald Wayne Briscoe, 58, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.

Mr. Briscoe was born Aug. 31, 1954 in Kennett, MO. He was of the Baptist faith, and was disabled. Mr. Briscoe enjoyed watching car races, watching the Andy Griffith Show, riding his lawn mower and working on the trailer for his lawn mower, and camping.

Survivors include four brothers, David Briscoe (Tina), of Doniphan, Ray Briscoe (Cindy), of Poplar Bluff, Steven Briscoe (Sherry), of Fairdealing, and Gary Briscoe (Crystal) of Poplar Bluff; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, Marvin William and Mayrene Nickelson Briscoe, and two brothers, James Briscoe and Dale Briscoe preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
