Donald John Ellersick

Donald John Ellersick, 47, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, May 31, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Ellersick was born March 5, 1966 in St. Louis, MO; and was disabled. He loved his cat, and enjoyed vegetable gardening and barbequing with family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Harley Ellersick, of Van Buren; his mother and stepfather, Bernadine (Dees) and Stanley H. Brand, of Poplar Bluff; stepmother, Pam Ashcroft Ellersick, of St. Louis; sister, Amy S. Brass, of Rockford, Ill.; brother, Ronald Ellersick, of St. Louis; and special friends, Kevin Young, of Poplar Bluff and Terry Haley, of Broseley.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with a Rosary Service following at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel with Father David Coon officiating. A graveside service will be at Wilhelmina Cemetery in Dunklin County.
