Donald Eugene Raney

Donald Eugene Raney of Poplar Bluff, Mo., left this Earth peacefully on Dec. 19, 2014 at the age of 64.

Mr. Raney was born Nov. 9, 1950 to the late Harold Raney and Mable Micks in Mt. Vernon, Ill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having actively served in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his children Ginger Freelen, Albert Rainey, Jill Bowers, Stacy Harris, Sarah Spytek, Anthony Rainey, Tracy Roach, and Zachary Jones; his love of many years, Martha Dunakin; and sisters, Venita Burchell and Barbara Russell.

He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffery Raney.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
