Donald Ray Williams, Jr

Donald R. Williams, Jr., 33, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Williams was born September 23, 1981 in Poplar Bluff to Catherine Williams and the late Donald R. Williams, Sr. He attended Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Poplar Bluff and was passionate about music and animals. After having received his masters in school administration from SEMO University in Cape Girardeau and a masters in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, he was a school teacher.

Survivors include his mother, Catherine Manns Williams, and his aunt, Sherry Elsworth, both of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff starting at 1 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Annette Joseph will officiate, assisted by Father David Coon. Interment will follow at City Cemetery.
