Donna Rose Malloy

Donna Rose Malloy, 73, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Wappapello, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.

Ms. Malloy was born Aug. 8, 1941 to the late Donald Andrew and Lillie Belle (Bratcher) Barker. She was a member of Misty Lake Church and had retired as a riverboat cook. Mrs. Malloy enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to church music and playing bingo.

Survivors include five children: Dennis (Donna) Brannum, Cathy (John) Osborn and Vera Charlene Malloy all of Poplar Bluff, Joseph "Joey" (Bobbie) Pijanowsky also of Poplar Bluff and Jamie Lynn Schrage of Vandalia, Mo.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Jean Mueller of Illinois.; and a brother, John (Janet) Barker of Poplar Bluff.

In addition to her parents, two grandsons, David Greer and Randy Malloy also preceded Mrs. Malloy in death.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel with her brother, John Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Black Creek Cemetery in Butler County.
