Donna Sue Pinner

Donna Sue Pinner, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Wednesday, on November 05, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Donna was born on February 22, 1950, to Roy and Rose (Wilson) Nelson in Piedmont, Missouri. She married Lester "Bud" Pinner on May 12, 1967, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Donna was a talented quilter and enjoyed making gifts for others. She was known for her delicious pecan and pumpkin pies. She and her husband were life-long members of Little Brown General Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff. Donna had a knack for finding beautiful antiques and decorating her home with them. Donna was a kind-hearted, nurturing, and patient woman. She became a Registered Nurse after graduating from Lincoln University in 1990. She retired from the Butler County Health Department in 2013. Donna loved her family fiercely and her proudest title was Grannie.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bud Pinner; one daughter, Tonya (Mike) Landrum; brother, Bo Nelson; sister, Emily (Chuck) Riggs; three grandkids, Nelson, Caleb, and Joshua Landrum; three great grandkids, Gracelynn, Zoey, and Axel Landrum; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Rose Nelson; one brother, Ronald "Bobo" Nelson; sister, Carol Nelson.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, November 07, 2025, at Carson Hill Cemetery in Mill Spring, Missouri with Bro. Kenny Durham officiating.
