Donna Carol Ross

Donna Carol Ross, 78, of Arnold, MO passed away on August 13, 2025, at de Greeff Hospice House in Sappington, Missouri.

Donna was born on May 17, 1947, to Gerald and Thelma (Foust) Hager in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Donna grew up on a farm in Coon Island, MO and attended Neelyville High School, graduating in 1965. Her favorite past times were going to thrift stores, traveling, spending time with family, and reading her Bible. The best thing in her life came along when Fiona was born and she loved showing her off in pictures. Donna was a caregiver to anyone in need and would never say no. She is deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.

Donna is survived by one daughter, Tonja Ross (Anthony Italiano); one grand-daughter, Fiona Italiano from St. Louis, MO; one brother, Darrell (Phyllis) Hager from DeSoto, MO; one niece, Angela (Michael) Greenleaf from Newnan, GA. along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Thelma; and one brother, Gerald Ray Hager.

Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 11-noon at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Memorial service will immediately follow beginning at noon with Pastor Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
