Dorothy Ilene Dittmer, 91, of Greenville, MO passed away at her home Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013.
Mrs. Dittmer was born on January 14, 1922, in St. Francis County, MO to Carl McCoy and Elsie Carmen DeBlois Coleman. They preceded her in death.
On November 28, 1964, she married Henry Thomas Dittmer. He died on June 13, 2011.
Mrs. Dittmer was a member of Church of Christ and National Association of Federal Retired Employees. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children; Larry Gene Wigger and Jimmie Wayne Wigger of Bonne Terre, MO, Carmen (Robert) Rose Coss of Wilton, IA, Sharon Marie Graham of DeSoto, MO, Thomas (Karen) Wynn Dittmer of Cary, NC; sisters, Lois Janet Galina, of St. Louis, MO, Norma Jean Gurley of Fenton, MO; 11 grandchildren, Cindy Wigger, Tammy Nickles (Jeff), Linda Wigger, Jane Ann Swanson (Dan), Beth Welsh, Leslie Miner (Bob), Julie Pratt (Bruce), Jeannie Brooks (Kenneth), Rebecca Young, Tracie Otto and Jason Dittmer; 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A grandson, Jimmy Wayne Wigger, granddaughter, Kelly LaMasters, great-great-grandson, Chase Daniel Coss, and sister, Faye Oster also preceded Mrs. Dittmer in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, MO. The Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Vernon Curry officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Shook, MO.
