On Saturday, May 26, 2012 Dorothy ""Doris"" Dean Moe Garrison, finished her God given assignment here on earth and was promoted to heaven.
Mrs. Garrison was born April 28, 1937 in Holcomb, Mo. to Walter and Alma Evans, who preceded her in death. Her first husband, Richard Moe and her second husband, Phillip Garrison, brother, William Vernal Evans, and sister, Verna Dean Davis also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Garrison was a retired office assistant to Dr. Foy Priest, and was member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family, reading, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball games.
Survivors include her daughters, Mona AuBuchon and husband Don of Dexter, Mo.; Robin Berry and husband Marvin, and Monica Lewis and husband Jarrod of Poplar Bluff; sons, Rocky Moe and wife Tina of Doniphan, Mo; Ricky Moe and wife Cheryl of Granite City, Ill; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Michael Evans and wife Robin of Los Fresnos, Tex.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel with her daughter, Robin Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
