Dorothy Morine Graham

Dorothy Graham, 90, a resident of Cedargate Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff passed away Friday, April 19, 2013.

Mrs. Graham was born near Greenville, Mo. on Nov. 10, 1922 to George Frank Wilkinson and Mary Gusta (Huggins) Wilkinson.

In 1946, she married Basil W. ""Mike"" Graham. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. Graham attended First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. At one time she and her husband owned and operated the Greenville Motel; and for over 25 years she was also employed as a supervisor at Gossard Garment Factory in Poplar Bluff. After retirement she volunteered at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Graham enjoyed playing cards, gardening, flowers, sewing, reading, and deer hunting in Colorado in her younger years.

Survivors include a brother, Frank Wilkinson (Norma), of Poplar Bluff; two nieces: Dr. Dianne Senay (Doug), of Overland Park, Kans. and Sheryl Nickless (Greg), of St. Louis; two great nieces: Ann Nickless and Elyse Nickless; and two cousins: Alan Hawley (Wilma), of Wappapello and Glenda Partain (Bob), of Harrisburg, IL.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Greenville.
