Dorothy Belle (Bediant) Summers

Dorothy Belle Summers, 92, of Poplar Bluff passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her residence.

Dorothy was born May 2, 1928 to Earl W. and Selma (Gusfason) Bediant in Denver, CO.  She and Gene Summers Sr. were married June 28, 1950 in Piggott, AR. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Dorothy enjoyed crafting, embroidery and singing in church.

She is survived by four children, Gene (Beverly) Summers, James (Tina) Summers, Forrest (Tammy) Summers and Donna (Daniel) Ethridge all of Poplar Bluff; and a sister, Eleanor Summers of Collinsville, IL.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by two children, Earl Summers and Raymond Summers, and a brother Harvey Bediant.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 11 at 1 PM in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO with Ron Fowler officiating.
