Douglas "Doug" James West

Douglas James West, 54, of Williamsville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. West, the son of the late Kenneth James and Dorothy Anne Chilton West, was born Feb. 9, 1962 in St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, where he also was employed in the maintenance department. Mr. West was passionate about raising his daughter Zoie, who was the love of his life. He enjoyed working on cars, fixing things and collecting die cast cars and trains.

Survivors include his precious daughter, Zoie Anna Rose West of the home; a sister, Deanna L. (Michael) Mann of Williamsville, Mo.; and a brother, Michael K. (Charlotte) West of Greenville, Mo.

A Memorial Service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4th at Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating.
