Eddie Joe Dyson

Eddie Joe Dyson, 67, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Dyson was born April 28, 1944 in Jackson, Tenn. He was a member of Midland Church of Poplar Bluff, and was a furniture store worker. Mr. Dyson enjoyed spending time with his family, fixing cars, fishing and video games.

On March 23, 1989, he married Vivian Mathis in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Other survivors include three children, Mary Stadler, Lizzel Stadler and Rolondia Dyson all of Poplar Bluff; step-son, Thomas Stadler of Poplar Bluff; 8 grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Lucas, Willie Ann Brown and Angela Brown all of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and 7 brothers, Ozzel Brown of Albuquerque, NM, Eugene Brown and Wilbert Brown, Jr. both of Toledo, Ohio, Larry Brown of Milwaukee, Wisc., Ricky Daniels of Atlanta, Ga., Eric Daniels and James Dyson also of Milwaukee, Wisc.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Paul White officiating. Burial will be at Marble Hill Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
