Eddie E Patterson

Eddie E. Patterson, 71, of Wappapello, Mo., passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at his residence.

Eddie was the son of the late Ray “Pat” H. and Tessie Mae Griffith Patterson. He was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School Class of 1965 and was of the Baptist faith. He had retired from St. Louis Boilermaker's Local 27. Eddie never met a stranger and enjoyed talking and visiting with his family, friends as well as everyone he came into contact with. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.

Eddie married Trudie Kay Gamble, the love of his life on Dec. 29, 1974. She survives.

A brother, Charles (Frances) Rainwater of Sedgewickville, Mo; his mother-in-law, Lucille Gamble; sister in law and brother in law, Vicki and Steve Hicks; two nieces, Rebecca Ziegler of Poplar Bluff and Gayla Younger of Advance; and two nephews, Steven (Dawn) Hicks II and Brian (Megan) Hicks also of Poplar Bluff survives.

Visitation will begin at 12 P.M. Friday Jan.19th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 P.M. The Rev. Jim Schremp will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
