Edith Carol Mcclellan

Edith Carol McClellan, 70, of Wappapello, Mo., passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2018 at Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center.

Edith, the daughter of Herbert Leslie Sr. and Marie Damaris Chaplin, was born Sept. 3, 1948 in Nashua, New Hampshire. She was of the Protestant faith and had worked for many years as a bartender. Edith enjoyed reading and being on her computer.

Survivors include a daughter Karen Simonean of Jacksonville, Fla.; a special niece and caretaker Cheryl Cavenar and her husband Roger of Wappapello; and two brothers Herbert L. Chaplin Jr. of Wappapello and Leslie H. Chaplin of Sunland, Calif.

Edith’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.
