Edna E. Massingham

Edna E. Massingham, 86, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Massingham was born Dec. 11, 1924 in Ellsinore, Mo. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had previously worked in sales at Libson Ladies Fashions. Mrs. Massingham enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

She married Wallace Massingham in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Other survivors include 3 sons, Terry (Janice) Massingham, Dan (Carol) Massingham and Mark (Paula) Massingham; 4 grandchildren, Erica King, Landon Massingham and Gary Hendrix all of Poplar Bluff and Lyndsey Hendrix of Springfield, Mo.; 2 great-grandchildren, Mallory King and Bailey King both of Poplar Bluff; and a sister, Linda Rimel also of Poplar Bluff.

Her parents, Ralph and Cora (Legrand) Rubottom, sister, Ruby Colclasure and brothers, Irvin Rubottom and Donald Rubotton preceded her in death.

The family will receive and visit with friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
