Elga Arroyo de Torres

Mrs. Elga Arroyo de Torres, born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

She was a devoted nurse, loving homemaker, cherished mother, and a deeply devoted grandmother. Throughout her life, she was a pillar of strength and compassion within her family and her community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Francisco G. Torres Aybar. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann and Elga; her grandchildren; and many extended family members who will continue to honor her legacy.

Mrs. Arroyo de Torres will be remembered with great love, admiration, and gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Father Allen.
