Elisha Mark Ellison

Mark Ellison, 57, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Ellison, son of Raymond Wells and Cora Thurston Kennedy, was born Aug. 24, 1958 in Poplar Bluff. He was the previous owner and operator of Billington Heating and Cooling in Poplar Bluff and had also worked at Mid Continent Nail Corporation. Mr. Ellison enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.

On June 15, 2010, he married Pam Babb in Poplar Bluff. She survives.

Other survivors include three children, Lisa Ellison, Kimberly Boyd and Tony Coomer of Carbondale Ill.; a stepdaughter, Heather Griffith of Poplar Bluff; his father, Raymond Wells of Desoto Mo.; his mother, Cora Kennedy of La Grande Ore.; a brother, Theodore Ellison of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Teresa Green (Tim) of Ariz., Debra Wigginton (Johnny) of La Grande Ore. and Virginia Breese of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver, Karen Eder of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

His sister, Tammy Miller preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
