Elsie L. Blakeney

Born December 15, 1914 in Poplar Bluff, MO. Entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2014

Married to the late Hal R. Blakeney on February 11, 1940.

Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Aunt, she was loved dearly by her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening and canning.

Member of First Christian Church of Polar Bluff and was formerly active in Daughters of Ruth Circle and Women's Fellowship.

Assistant Manager of The Federal Land Bank Association of Poplar Bluff for 17 years, then with the Blakeney Dairy until she retired in 1980.

In 2007, she moved to Webster Groves, MO to live with her daughter Janice M. Williams.

We hold you tightly within our hearts, you will be sadly missed.
