Emma Elizabeth Foxx

Emma E. Foxx, 89, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Cedargate Health Care.

Mrs. Foxx, the daughter of the late Albert E. and Elizabeth S. (Frank) Fox, was born Jan. 5, 1929 in Altoona, Pa. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Foxx proudly served her country in the U.S. Air force. After 25 years of service she retired from John J. Pershing VA Hospital as an LPN. Mrs. Foxx enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and flowers.

Survivors include her four daughters, Victoria (Jimmy) Law, Margaret (Goldie) Crow, Dawn (Jerry) Moore all of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Rebecca Ruth (Mike) Huffman of Fairgrove, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Her daughter, Mary Anne Foxx, two brothers, Gabriel Carroll and Bert Carroll and two sisters, Victoria Elizabeth Fox and June Emerick also preceded her in death.

Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at Old Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler County.
