Enid Healy Snee

Enid Healy Snee, 94, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at The Manor, in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Snee was born Aug. 3, 1914, in Stonefort, Ill. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, in Poplar Bluff, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Snee previously served as a volunteer The March of Dimes, in Calif. as well as R.S.V.P., in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.

In May 1944, she was married to James Snee. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ryder, of Sumpter, Oreg. and Kathryn Curcione and husband Nick, of San Diego, Calif.; 5 grandchildren, Brian Callaway, Enid Rose Stanfill, Travis Vander Linden, Kathy Kaiser and Jamie Carrabine; 3 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Edgar C. ""Ed"" Healy and Robert ""Bob"" Healy and wife Betty, all of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Terrah Bowden and Beatrice Elizabeth (Rose) Healy and 5 brothers, Harvey Healy, Leonard Healy, Elbert Healy, Stanley Healy and Joe Healy preceded her in death.

A private family memorial service will be held in California at a later date.
