Eric Eugene Harris

Eric Eugene Harris, 33, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, May 24, 2013 in Butler County.

Mr. Harris was born Nov. 17, 1979 in Lincoln Park, Mich. He was a graduate of Sikeston High School class of 1998; was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist in Sikeston; and was a landscaper. Mr. Harris enjoyed music, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include a son, Brayden John Harris Poole, of Poplar Bluff; his mother and stepfather, Woody and Patty Harris Bolen, of Poplar Bluff; fiance, Carol Cook, of Poplar Bluff; sister, Heather Esquivel (Hector), of Poplar Bluff; half-brother, David Kuhn, of Michigan; niece and nephew, Nyla and Dominick Esquivel; and grandmother, Barbara Nimmo, of Sikeston.

His father, Rick Kuhn, and grandfather, John Nimmo preceded Mr. Harris in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello, Mo. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wappapello Chapel with Pastor Mike Bolen officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
