Erma Louise Pierce, 47, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. from injuries sustained in a house-fire that also claimed the lived of her grandsons, Phoenix and JayDen Brannon.
Mrs. Pierce was born Sept. 16, 1967, in Rochelle, Ill. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Pierce loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren, crocheting and making blankets and scarfs.
On March 19, 1999, she married Daniel Glen Pierce in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include four children: William Pickard, Dusty Brannan and Tiffany Englerth, all of Poplar Bluff and Spencer Davis, of Pennsylvania; her mother, Irma Stucker Englerth of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren: Xoie, Kyhrah, DaShia, Tyberius, Grayson and Tyra; and three sisters: Melissa Vaughn, Carolyn Marcus and Jennifer Englerth, all of Poplar Bluff.
In addition to her grandsons, Phoenix and JayDen, Mrs. Pierce was also preceded by her father, William Englerth.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with memorial services beginning at 6 p.m. Brother Matt Baker will be officiating.
No other services are planned.
