Estella Faye Warfield, 84, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Warfield was born Jan. 19, 1928 in Poplar Bluff. She attended Northpoint Nazarene Church in Poplar Bluff, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Warfield enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, quilting, gardening, and working crossword puzzles.
On Feb. 7, 1946, she married Jesse Warfield in Little Rock, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2000.
Survivors include four children: Jesse A. Warfield and wife Alene, Jane Carter and husband Keith, and Marian Joachim and husband Richard all of Poplar Bluff and Gayla Christensen and husband Duane of West Palm Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren: Michael Joachim, Matt Joachim, Nathan Warfield and wife Misty, Rachel Marty and husband Andrew, Lauren Biggs and husband Tom, Ryan Christensen and Alex Christensen; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, John and Lela Devor Patterson, a grandson, Phillip Joachim, and three sisters and three stepsisters also preceded Mrs. Warfield in death.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Three Springs Cemetery in north Butler County with The Rev. Greg Gilberto officiating.
