Esther Ann French

Esther Ann French, 94, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. French was born July 25, 1915 in Wahpeton, ND. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, and had retired as a secretary. Mrs. French was a member of the East Highway Extension Club and Poplar Bluff Garden Club. She enjoyed her church, being outdoors and flower gardening.

Her husband, Ernest French preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1984.

Survivors include a son, Harold French, of Surprise, Ariz.; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
