Eugene Robertson, Sr.

Eugene Dewayne Robertson, Sr., 74, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born on January 11, 1944 to Earl and Lillian (Holmes) Robertson in Bragg City, MO. He graduated from Bragg City High School in 1962. Eugene married Brenda Hartwell in Bragg City on June 6, 1964. She preceded him in death on June 1, 1994. Eugene worked for Riggs Wholesale for 50 years and retired as the assistant manager.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughters.

Eugene is survived by his two children, Eugene Jr. (Michelle) Robertson of Mount Vernon, MO and Roxanne (Joey) Sisson of Poplar Bluff, MO; three granddaughters, April (Matthew) Weiss, Lexy Sisson, and Alyssa Sisson; one great-grandson, Samuel Weiss; and Special Friend, Kay Campbell of Poplar Bluff, MO.
He was preceded in death by wife, parents, and one brother, Gary Robertson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 1:30 pm in Moore Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will take place in the City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
