Eva Lucille (Stennett) Black

Eva Lucille Black, 90, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical center.

Mrs. Black was born April 28, 1922 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Black enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo and playing with her dogs.

On Sept. 16, 1946, she married Henry Edmond Black, Jr. in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1995.

Survivors include two nephews and caregivers, Jim O'Connor and wife, Brenda and Kevin O'Connor and wife, Ann Marie all of Poplar Bluff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David Coon officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
