Evelyn Delores Ward

Evelyn Delores ""Delo"" Ward, 60, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Florida Hospital in Kissimmee.

Ms. Ward was born April 19, 1950 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Protestant faith, and had worked at Disney World in Orlando. Ms. Ward enjoyed meeting and visiting with people and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include three sisters, Wanda Whittenburg and husband Hugh of Kissimmee, Fla., Betty Schaefer and husband Pat of St. Louis and Jenny Kraichley and husband Ted of Afton; a brother, James Ward and wife Joy of Poplar Bluff; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her parents, Leo Leonard and Wilma (Raper) Ward preceded Ms. Ward in death.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
